No Holy Water Passed this Point
On our first overnight at Edinburgh Manor, one of my ex-team members brought holy water and decided to try and “Move them on”. I did not know of his plan beforehand, he wondered off and started splashing away. Being our first time investigating at night, I really didn’t notice how serious the situation was getting. It…

Experiment Ave.
Hit the brakes, use your turn signal and watch for pedestrians! We’re taking a cruise down Experiment Ave. I’m excited for this one, two of my most favorite things, combined! I love music and so does most of humanity… even after they’re dead. So I tried to play some music from the time period the place was…

Demons are not Everywhere
I may be nuts to everyone else, but I believe with all of my being that ghosts are real, spirits walk or float among us and angels and demons are in a perpetual game of tug-of-war for the souls on this planet. For some reason, more than a few investigators claim EVERYTHING is a demon.…

There are no experts
Paranormal experts, HA! That’s like saying, “I’m an expert at slot machines.”, the paranormal is like gambling, one could walk into a casino for the first time in their life, put a dollar in and hit it big on the first spin or play until all the money is gone and you got bupkiss. The same…

I consider myself to be a novice ghost investigator, I haven’t experienced the amount of unexplained craziness that would make even the most seasoned paranormal investigator quit the field. I have been to Edinburgh Manor, in Scotch Grove Iowa for seven overnights and countless day tours, I’ve done hours of research on the history of…

Spirits Can Ignore You
Have you ever been asked the same question over and over again? If yes, then you know how irritating it can be. On my Investigations, I try to come up with different questions to ask. So many paranormal enthusiasts that are “professional” or “experienced” and even more likely, beginners, tend to repeat the same old…

Experiment Ave. Two
I realize these are not OUR experiments, I’m sure they’ve been done many times, these are our first experiences trying these things. Technology is all over and though spirits from way back don’t know what it does, they’re curious just like humans are. It’s fine to warn them that the little orange light won’t hurt…

Investigate Anywhere!
You know you can investigate anywhere, right? I do! I do it at home, in cemeteries, even forest preserves! As I’ve said, all you need is a recorder, you can add your personal touch to it with crystals or dowsing rods. If anything, you can use it to practice your skills. What questions to ask,…

I’m all over the place
I’ve started a blog and like anyone, no clue where to start. I’ve tried a few different platforms and ended up here. Currently, DAAM! has a blog through Google blogspot, also a website, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. All links are available on the home page. With any luck, I’ll get DAAM! all straightened out and…
