Hit the brakes, use your turn signal and watch for pedestrians! We’re taking a cruise down Experiment Ave. I’m excited for this one, two of my most favorite things, combined! I love music and so does most of humanity… even after they’re dead. So I tried to play some music from the time period the place was open and active, I played old blues and country from 1940 – 1950, since I was in Iowa and let’s face it, back then, it was all country. I set up my recorder, found the list of songs on my phone and hit play. I played one for two minutes and hit stop, sat there in the silence for two minutes and continued to the next song. I repeated that cycle until the songs we all played and gave ample time for a response. 

The idea is, if there’s a intelligent spirit that’s attracted to music, it may try to finish it by humming or singing it, it may ask to turn it back on, maybe an applause or cheer will come through. I keep it light and upbeat, I was born and bred a metalhead so my music would most likely scare or anger the entities and that’s not what I want. At the end of this experiment I ask if the music was good or bad, is there any particular music it likes. So far, I have gotten nothing but I will continue to try. It might not ever work but I’ll never stop trying. That goes for everything paranormal.
