Have you ever been asked the same question over and over again? If yes, then you know how irritating it can be. On my Investigations, I try to come up with different questions to ask. So many paranormal enthusiasts that are “professional” or “experienced” and even more likely, beginners, tend to repeat the same old questions. “How did you die?”, “Why are youhere?” and my favorite, “Would any spirits like to talk to me/us?” I’m alive and I don’t like to talk to other people all that much. Can you imagine being asked how you came to your final demise, every day, for the rest of eternity? I’ll put it as clear as possible, that’s not a demon,  people who say everything is a demon. It’s an old, frustrated ghost who wants to be asked about his/her favorite color.

 I have read the ghost books and watched the shows, I’ve been on ghost tours and overnight Investigations, even I do it from time to time. To combat the tired, overused pleasantries, I write questions down before an investigation. Well, I write many questions, after so many and the date draws near, I narrow them down. I try to keep questions simple yet specific. At Edinburgh Manor, the patients and staff had to grow, clean and prepare their own food. I asked, “How was the food here?” Upon review of my recorder, the answer was “Sh*t”. To wrap this up, put some thought into the questions you ask. Because it could be the difference between, no EVP’s and DAAM! I got an answer!
