Rod and Todd

I have a project, an idea, an inspiration, a spark. I’m a machinist at the greatest machine shop in the history of metal shops. Metal is what I do, what I listen to and, it runs through my blood. I was able to acquire two 3 foot, 3/8 round, copper rods. I asked the boss man/owner if I could purchase them, he was kind enough to just give them to me. I’ve named them “Rod and Todd”. I’m going to attempt to make dowsing rods. I have some ideas and three months until our next investigation.

Rod: I’m the jealous jockey! Todd: I’m a torso!

Along with the cassette player, they will be new experiments at Edinburgh Manor. I like to have something I’ve never tried before at every investigation. In the paranormal, nothing can be proven, you can have all the evidence in the world but it doesn’t matter, it can’t be proven. So everything we try, no matter how advanced or how simple, will never hold up. That’s why I like to do whatever my brain can think up.

We found this cassette tape recorder, sadly, it has expired. I plan to buy a new one at Walmart. I didn’t know these were still in production but there must be a demand.

There’s a shit ton of nonsense up there but once in a while, something comes together and it’s not completely impossible. My brain is full of heavy music, Simpson’s episodes & quotes, machining, and things I find hilarious but won’t dare tell a soul. Everyone processes every second of every day differently than the next, it reminds me of the quote, “What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly.” – Morticia Addams. Our minds are free to wander, so let them go.

“What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly. “
