DAAM Paranormal is getting ready for overnight number eight, with special guest, Theresa N.

In one week, DAAM Paranoral will be guests at Edinburgh Manor! My team and I will be investigating the Manor for the eigth time. We have some new ideas and equipment to try on this overnight, and my hopes are high. We always have an active night in Scotch Grove, Iowa but lately, its alomost like the building has gotten used to us. I’m going to attempt to change that.

We have some new flashlights, a couple of motion censor balls that light up, (cat toys), a pair of DIY dowsing rods that were donated by my boss at Dubuque Screw Products, and I would like to get try recording with a cassette tape recorder if I decide to buy one. we have some new tripods for our phones to record video from a few different angles, locations, and even one I’ll be wearing… I got that for a dollar. I have thought about recording my drive to work but that’ll just be 21 minutes of F-bombs and more F-bombs. (there will still be F-bombs, I’m from Chicago, our accent is swearing).

You know, I am incredibly thankful that cameras were not as plentiful as they are now back in my but there are some experiences that I would go back in time to record. Since those are locked in my mind and probably warped, I want to capture something with our raw, no bullshit, discount equipment. I know the best equipment does not equal better evidence but I think, as with anything, be the best you can be at what you love. Our first overnight at the Manor, we caught an extremly clear EVP in Room 200. On that night, all we had were four recorders, we had a spirit box but we tried to use that stupid little puff ball for a speaker. It was just loud and annoying like a drunk Cubs fan.

I will attempt to go live on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat but there will be updates here and evidence posted after I reviewed. The team on this investigation will be, Amber, Damien, and myself with special guest Theresa! (my mom). Should be a fun, interesting night with a full moon overhead. There will be plenty of real time updates, see you there!!
